The Big Buddha of Phuket is among the most important landmarks on the island. You’ll find the Big Buddha nestled on top of the Nakkerd Hills right between Chalong and Kata. The Big Buddha is 45 meter tall and can be seen from far away. So far in fact that you’ll still be able to see it from Phuket town and Karon Beach. From here you’ll have a wonderful and breathtaking view over the whole island and a picturesque view over Phuket Town, Chalong Bay, Kata, Karon and much more. There’s not much that you can’t see from there really, so if you’re in for taking some great pictures to show at home, or keep as a memory, this is the place to visit.
