Layan Beach

At the northern end of the Bangtao beach located on the westcoast of Phuket, you’ll find the Layan Beach - a truly stunning one of its kind, waiting to be experienced. On the cotrary to the beaches located on the westcoast, this is yet a quiet area full of tranquility yet to be had in peace. At Layan Beach you can relax under the shades of the tall pine trees that are bordering the beach. Among the visitors you’ll mostly find Thai tourists, islanders and expats. The appearance of Layan Beach hasn’t changed for over 20 years, so this is not only a great spot for relaxation, but also a bit of travel back in time. The sea around the beach is quite calm, due to the fact that the beach is sheltered by Koh Kala, a small island located at its northern part.
