If you are looking for calm seas, water fun, fine and powdery sand, then Karon has all that in store for you and resembles a quieter version of Patong beach. You’ll find Karon as the second largest of the tourist beaches in Phuket with its 3 km. in length, about 20 km. away from town. The sand at Karon beach has white sand, an abundance of street food and nearby restaurants, just opposite the beach.
The beach itself offers excellent snorkelling- and diving spots, at its most southern end, and is wide enough for beachgoers to never feel crowded.
