Kathu Waterfall

The Kathu Waterfall is not to be missed on your tour around the island and should definitely be enjoyed for several hours, or even a whole day. The waterfall is a series of drop pools really, but depending on the season, it turns to a gushing waterfall instead, due to the rainwater. One thing is certain. If you want to reach the very top of Kathu Waterfall, then don’t expect a small stroll along a small path, expect a climb along stairs instead. To see this waterfall, you should visit between June and November. Right at the top there’s a pool in which you can take a dip and there are ‘drop pools’ stationed along the way up to cool off in.
