Kata Beach

The beach of Kata has soft and super fine sand and turquoise water in store for you. The beach is both a popular spot for beach goers, surfers, snorklers and swimmers alike. For snorkellers on Kata, the best bet is the northern end of the beach, where the rocks host coral and ample sea life. To beach-goers there is a large array of deckchairs and umbrellas available for a small charge. You’ll find heaps of budget accommodation, restaurants and bars along Taina Road. Both Kata Centre and southern Kata has a smattering of internet cafes, but free WiFi can also be found in a number of restaurants and cafes.
