Kamala Beach

The historic Kamala beach is just a stone’s throw north of Patong and is known to be one of the quieter strips of sand around the island. Fifteen minutes in a taxi, minivan or tour bus, and you’ve escaped the noise and bright lights of Patong beach and enter Kamala Beach, and open up for a relaxing beach experience. Kamala is a long stretch of beach that is surrounded by the steeped tree and headlands covered gills beyond. Kamala is known among the more peace-loving clientele and only a range of small hotels, villas and apartments are located there, which are not disturbing the peace and tranquility there. For the peaceful beach retreat, this is the beach to opt for, if you also don’t want to be too far away from Patong, if you wish to experience the nightlife activities there.
