The Beauty of Phuket's Swimming Pools

A Glimpse into Phuket's Pool Scene
Early morning shadows in the clear 40m pool at NH Boat Lagoon Resort. There is no official count of the number of swimming pools in Phuket. There are just under 1,500 hotels with pools, and add on to that the many thousands of private villas with pools, you must be talking of a figure around 5,000. That is a lot! Here’s an unusual view of some of Phuket’s swimming pools, taken with a specialized lens, capturing above and below the waterline.

Club Freedom in Rawai has a 7m deep section, perfect for blowing bubble rings. Sharkbites’ pool is behind The Stoned Crab restaurant in Rawai. It is 4m deep and used for dive training. A climbing wall overhangs the pool. NH Boat Lagoon Resort in the morning. A day pass is available.
Capturing Tranquility and Beauty
The deep section of the Club Freedom pool reminds one of a cathedral. Model Charlene Knapman at Samsara villas. Blue Tree Phuket is especially spectacular on days like this.

Unique Pool Experiences
Opposite Mission Hospital in Phuket Town is Like it Pool Cafe, where there is an untiled GRP pool with clear water, here with model Alexandra Sokolova. Lying on the bottom with a fisheye lens the photographer can see most of Snell’s Window at the NH Boat Lagoon Resort.
