The Saphan Hin Park is a popular seaside park that had a long relationship with the islanders since the early boom of tin mining that happened several years ago, when it was still a major trading port and the only beach located near Phuket Town. Making it to the park it is today took a mere 40 years, but in turn has come out to be an unique sight and venue for annual events in Phuket.
