Koh Kai-Koh Thap-Koh Mo

The Poda Group Islands (Koh Kai,koh Thap,koh Mo) are located in the west of Ao Nang, Krabi. Chicken Island is also known as Koh Kai. The coastline is rocky but has several beautiful reefs on the west coast of the island which are great for snorkeling. Koh Thap is much smaller than the other islands in the Poda group, however, it has a beautiful beach and the waters that surround it provide an excellent spot for snorkeling with plenty of tropical fish. At low tide, a sandbar emerges from the crystal clear turquoise waters connecting the larger Chicken island to the two smaller islands of Koh Mo and Thap. This picturesque and unique event is generally known as Talay Wak which means divided sea.
