About This Attraction
Koh Surin Nua and Koh Surin Tai are the main islands of the Mu Koh Surin National Park, 60 km off the west coast of Phang Nga province. The archipelago consists of 5 islands.
The Surin Islands are layered with ancient rainforest which provide a home to a number of interesting species. In the water the nature is even more impressive. An extensive coastline imparts the most impressive coral reefs, with more than 200 coral species.
Khura Buri Pier north of Phang Nga Town, is the nearest launching port to the Surin Islands where ferryboats regularly make the trip from November-April.
